The passage you see is a quote from the story buddy that changes or informs us of the wanted plot of the story. This quote/ passage shows how the mother is heart broken from what her son stole from her, she might know about buddy's past with shoplifting and that is why I think she called him a thief. Thief is a strong word that when some one accuses you to it you will be emotionally in pain. Fights between two characters in a story always affect something or change a aspect of the story whether it being a small or big one. Loosing a mom in real life is hard; it was really hard on Buddy in the story. When Buddy was around other people he was very shy and uncomfortable and when he was alone he was even weirder, he kept getting scared over silly and child some things like an over hairy person. Loosing his mom Effected Buddy in a lot of ways and how Buddy felt and acted was a major part in the plot and the making of the bigger problems of the story Buddy. All important passages in a story are meant to shock a reader and that is exactly what this passage did to me. This quote made me feel suspicious of the story's main character and his mother and how are they going to fit in different occasions of what I thought was going to happen to the characters. I felt that Buddy's mom was going to come back in the future and change buddy physically and emotionally and then he would not be that important to the plot because if he was changed he would probably not create or be part of the main conflict of the story. Paragraphs can change your perspective of something whether it being in a good way to the plot or in a bad way.

My Reflection
In English class we were asked to read a story and then pick 8 passages and then say how they fit in the story, what did we felt after reading them and how did that effect the main character. I worked very hard on this project although I don't know my marks yet I am sure I will get a good mark because this is one of my best achievements in the subject of English. Now that I have put my work on my digital portfolio I have to work very hard to put more work of mine on the portfolio so it gets ready in time. Maybe next I will put some French work on the digital portfolio. Maybe it will be a power point I have made on meuseams in Paris. What ever I put on the digital portfolio it will be good quality.
